Chicken Fried Rice in the Slow Cooker

Oh my! I made chicken fried rice in the slow cooker and it was so good. My husband told me the owner of our local takeaway should be nervous. Even my 9 year old who is kind of picky liked it.

Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts cut into strips
60ml soy saucw
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp fish sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
200g rice
500ml chicken stock
2 eggs
2 serving spoons of frozen Peas

Let’s see how to cook Chicken Fried Rice in the Slow Cooker

Directions:

Mix the chicken with the soy sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce and minced garlic, cover and leave for 1 hour to marinate.

Fry rice in a little oil to colour it slightly then add it to the SC on HIGH with the STOCK for 2 hours.

Meanwhile, fry the egg as if you were scrambling it, set aside.
Fry the chicken until browned, set aside.

30 minutes before the end add the egg, chicken and frozen Peas. Mix well.

I put a tea towel under the lid as well.
